月刊オートキャンパー'17年11月号の巻頭企画で、普段あまりドカンと紹介されることがない、それでも常に人気があるモデル。いわゆる定番車を徹底的にその人気の理由を探る記事を展開した。その理屈は本誌を読んでもらうとして、どんな車両がそれに当たるのかだけでも紹介してみよう。1; Five Star by RECVEE
This model use TOYOTA HIACE super long base chassis, it is very popular van conversion style in Japan. Five Star has dinnet, rear bunk bed space and sanitary room. Rear bunk bed is usually to use long sofa, sanitary room has waterproof floor.
"Five Star" has been making for about 27 years, very famous and popular, start at '91.
日本ではバンコンバージョンが人気があるが、その中でもかなり息の長いモデルがファイブスターだ。発売計画当時からカタログモデルになることを意識し、それまでのワンオフメインのキャンピングカー販売から、現代的な"クルマ"というイメージのキャンピングカーを確立したモデル。
This model is special premium grade, Breeze. Rear bunk bed and sanitary room are changed right & left. Because, that has a separate type room air conditioner.
Unique front dinnet area, it use front seat back, very efficient space.
Waterproof shower pan, wall and door are high quality finish.
Standard equipment rear air conditioner was setting drop down, and making a over head cabinet.
Toy-Factory has deep relations to TOYOTA, next generation models will be plan to use TOYOTA's electric cable system in camping equipments. BADEN has high insulation, low fuel consumption and safety. Model started at '09.
登場してから10年弱ではあるが、その完成度の高さで圧倒的な支持を得ているモデルであるバーデン。見た目には本当に変化が分かりづらいが、素材の段階から自社開発したものを使い毎年のようにブラッシュアップを続けている。その完成度の高さから変化が起きるたびに乗り換え、同一モデルで３台目になっているオーナーもいるほどである。
3; COM PASS Bit's by WHITE HOUSE
Bit's uses TOYOTA HIACE narrow chassis, low height (2090mm) pop-up roof model. W1720mm x L4690mm, small but very useful basic camper. That has be making from '05, shipments are very large. This model has many user of young people, because it is reasonable cost.
元々はワイドボディをベースに考えられたコンセプトを持つモデルだが、標準ボディを使うことでお得感や日常での使い勝手を高めたモデル。その目論見は大当たりし、最低限必要なものだけの装備内容は低価格設定も可能となり、小さい子供を持つファミリー層でのウケも大きい。自分の使い方に合わせたオプションが多種組めるので、無駄にお金を使わないという思考にもマッチしている。
4; TENTMUSHI by VAN SHOP MIKAMI
"KEI-ZIDOUSHA", that is a very small car category in Japan, under W1.48 X L3.4 X H2.0m, capacity 660cc. "TENTMUSHI" means Ladybug. This is small and unique pop-up camper, but equipments are enough for the camping. Making from '05.
トミカにもなったかわいいデザインが大好評のテントむしだが、見た目だけではなく着々と進化を続けている。最新モデルにおいては、かなりしっかりしたエントランスドアを装着しシンクを実用的な大きさにサイズアップ、その分キャビネット内タンク容量を十分な大きさで確保できなくなってしまったので、排水タンクを独自設計でフロア下に設置するなど、ますます魅力度が増している。
Pop-up roof bed mats are changed more easy setting method than old type.
5; CREA series Evolution by NATS RV
"CREA" appeared '11 year, a relatively new model. But two years ago, this series has gotten great electricity system "Evolution". Usually sub battery system is charged when driving time but it needs very long time. Evolution system is charged max 45A at that time. Of course it is also valid at idling, and only 2~3 hours until fully charged.
２年前に電気系の充実を図ったエボリューション・システムが登場して以来人気はうなぎ昇りのクレア。もちろん、セパレートタイプの家庭用エアコンがいつでも実用的に使え、数時間走行すると使った分がすぐに再充電できることが一番話題になっている。
これまでは設備と３つの大きなサブバッテリーを搭載するスペースを作り出すため、5.3ｍサイズのモデルに限定していたシステムなのだが、ついに要望の大きかった5.0ｍサイズのモデルにも搭載されることになった。
300Ah程になるサブバッテリー容量は、真夏の炎天下にエアコンをフル稼働させると３〜４時間ほどでインバーターによるバッテリー保護回路が働くが、就寝前に快適な室内を構築するには十分。起床して移動している間に、アイドリング時にさえも大容量充電が行われるシステムになっている。
登場して間もないモデルではあるが、このシステムが今後のスタンダードになることは想像にやすい。
Until now, it was installed only in the 5.3 m type, but the setting was expanded also to the 5.0 m type. This unique system will be standard style in Japan, I think so.
